Homemade Pancakes

Stew asked if we had the stuff for pancakes this morning (meaning Bisquick, etc.) and we didn’t. But I had recently seen Josi on livejournal mention how easy it is to make homemade pancakes. I googled and found a cooks.com recipe, of which I had all the ingredients. I added a couple secret ones too, plus our favorite addition of chocolate chips sprinkled while in the pan. I am a messy cook.

3 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. sugar
3 level tsp. Rumford baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 stick butter
Milk

Melt 1/2 stick butter. Mix all together with all ingredients. Add enough milk until you have the consistency you like. Dip out on greased griddle that you have melted the butter in. Cook until a golden brown.
